Here there and every where

I am settled again after whirlwind winter trips to and from Hawaii, Sarah coming home,  Bremen here (Sue's serious beau) and then Sarah leaving back for Hawaii, Sue leaving for a three month PR assignment in Salt Lake and then Christie leaving for a trip home to her mom and family, the Highlander should earn its livery license.

Andrew finished midterms, and taught an amazing Family Night lesson on charity which had me in tears. I can so totally see him in a lancashire counsel flat proclaiming the gospel in the great M mission.

The house is so quiet after nine i can hear Milton pawing his food bowl. But I am keeping busy working in the day, driving kids, getting Primary and Institute lessons ready, home teaching message for the Bishop (so it has to be good)

My annual pudge purge is going well I have lost five pounds going into the first week. Not a bad start. When I cannot see any "me" and just a smooth shirt line Ill be done that translates to about 162 on this small frame of mine inherited from my angel mom. Speaking of...

Had a lovely dinner with eldest niece, Michaela Davis who would like to become an interior designer. She has her dad's eyes and the unmistakable Davis girl face. Suzanne favored us with her culinary rendition of Artichoke chicken and after we made a fire, got talking about "Nana" and then watched some archival video of a thanksgiving at Chestnut Hill the ancestral home back when the kids were so very young. There was my Mother doting over her grand children and I just wanted to crawl through the screen and hug her.

Other doings are Christie's nephew James is engaged with a summer wedding planned. There is talk of our going to Seattle with the whole crew and Bremen to have some crazy summer fun so perhaps the wedding will coincide. Perhaps more than one? We will see.
